Jim, our founder, grew up surrounded by the enchantment of filmmaking, with a lineage of cinematographers in Hollywood. This rich family legacy includes a great-great aunt who won an Academy Award for her contributions to silent films, instilling in Jim a profound appreciation for the cinematic arts.

From film studies in Los Angeles to performing on stages worldwide, music has always been a driving force for Jim. This passion, sparked by his mother’s singing and early guitar explorations, ultimately led to the creation of Narrow Gauge and Narrow Gauge Audio Visual, a venture that beautifully blends his love for both music and movies.
